The overall goal of the Undergraduate Research Office is to support and expand biomedical research experiences for undergraduates on K-INBRE campuses. Expanding welleducated biomedical researchers in Kansas improves the ability of the state's institutions to supply a research-focused workforce for academics, business, and other professional avenues. Research businesses in Kansas are growing rapidly in number and sophistication, and are now frequent partners for Kansas universities. Programs supported by this office enhance student engagement and student faculty interactions.
